Access circular economy opportunities in Peru and Colombia – Join the business visit in November

The necessity to transition from a linear to a circular economy is shaping multiple sectors in Peru and Colombia. With national action plans supporting the shift, there is a high demand for sustainable solutions in sectors such as mining, transport and energy. Tap into these business opportunities and join us for a visit to Peru and Colombia in November.

Finnpartnership, together with the Embassies of Finland in Lima and Bogotá, is inviting Finnish companies to B2B events focused on circular economy in Lima, Peru and Bogotá, Colombia on 16-23 November 2026. The week will include multiple events and visits, all themed around circular economy, where Finnish companies get to meet local stakeholders and present their offering.

While circular economy models are rapidly implemented across different sectors in Peru and Colombia, there is a particular need for solutions related to mining, transport, and infrastructure as well as energy, water, and waste management. There is a high interest in Finnish knowhow and technologies, such as smart water management, mineral processing, smart grids, energy efficiency solutions, and recycling of plastics, textiles, and metals.

Programme

The detailed programme will be finalised in the autumn based on participating Finnish companies and stakeholders. The initial outline includes the following:

• Monday 16 November (Peru): Site and technical visits as well as B2B meetings for Finnish companies in collaboration with the National Society of Industries
• Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November (Peru): International Forum on Circular Economy, organised by the EU Delegation to Peru with the support of Finland, Germany, the Government of Peru, and the National Society of Industries of Peru. The Forum is the largest circular economy event in Peru, and brings together public, private, academic and civil society sectors. Held for the 9^th time, the event provides market insights on Peru’s transition to circular economy as well as B2B matchmaking sessions for companies.
• Thursday 19 November (Peru): Finlandia Circular Lima (2^nd edition) B2B event in Lima, connecting Finnish and Peruvian companies and stakeholders, organised by Finnpartnership and the Embassy of Finland to Peru. 
• Travel to Bogota late afternoon or night
• Friday 20 November (Colombia): B2B meetings for Finnish companies with key stakeholders or potential site visits.
• Monday 23 November (Colombia): Finlandia Circular Bogotá (2^nd edition) B2B event in Bogotá, connecting Finnish and Colombian companies and stakeholders, organised by Finnpartnership and the Embassy of Finland to Colombia
