GLOLEX Ltd is a Rwanda-based agribusiness and international trading company specializing in specialty coffee, tea, horticulture, beverages, and sustainable agricultural value chains. Their core business is centered on the sourcing, processing, value addition, and export of premium Rwandan products, especially specialty Arabica coffee and black CTC and orthodox teas.

The main products and services include:

• Green Bourbon specialty coffee
• Roasted coffee under our “Orga Gourmet Coffee” brand
• Black CTC teas (BP1, PF1, PD) and orthodox teas
• Fresh fruits and vegetables
• Coffee and tea training services through GCI
• Coffee tourism and barista experiences

Production volumes:

• Green coffee export capacity currently ranges between 800–1,000 tons annually, with projected growth to 2,000 tons by 2030.
• Tea exports currently average about 150 tons annually, projected to reach 400 tons by 2030.

Their coffee operations include sourcing from cooperatives with more than 2,034 farmers in Ruli (Northern Rwanda) and private production in Rusizi (Western Rwanda), supported by drying infrastructure and traceability systems developed with Dimitra.

Markets and customers

The clients so far have mainly been international green coffee buyers, traders, and export-oriented importers, with a strong focus on B2B export relationships.

GLOLEX has also experience in exporting tea to the European market.
