Application workshops
Finnpartnership organises monthly virtual application workshops, in which the participants learn how to apply for the financial grant. They also hear about other development financiers and how development funding can be used.
The participants hear about Business Partnership Support, how to apply for it and what types of projects are eligible for the grant. In addition, the application workshops give the participants practical tips for preparing their applications. The participants also learn about Finnpartnership’s B2B Matchmaking service and the business opportunities created by the Global Gateway campaign.
The application workshops introduce the participants to Fingo’s services to promote cooperation between companies and non-governmental organisations.
Furthermore, companies’ environmental and social impacts when operating in developing markets are discussed. The participants receive tips for identifying development impacts in their business operations and communicating them to the public. This can open new doors for opportunities for further financing as well as cooperation with international organisations (the UN, the EU, etc.).
The application workshops are intended for operators eligible for Business Partnership Support, i.e. Finnish or Finnish-owned companies and organisations. Application workshops are held in Finnish and English on alternate months.
