Seize the market opportunities boosted by EU investments in Mozambique
The EU-Mozambique Global Gateway Investment Forum will take place on 22-23 November 2023 in Maputo, Mozambique. The Forum aims to create new partnerships and increase European private sector investment in Mozambique. The event will showcase the EU’s strategy in the areas of digitalisation, renewable energy and agriculture, as well as the blue economy, transport and tourism.
Finnpartnership invites Finnish companies to participate in the Forum. We will provide participants with a free Team Finland exhibition stand where they can showcase their company activities and services. The Forum will also offer Finnish companies the opportunity to meet and establish business partnerships with other European companies already operating in Mozambique.
Through the Global Gateway strategy, the EU is boosting and increasing trade and investment between its Member States and Mozambique. This will also open doors to new business partnerships between Finnish and Mozambican operators. Finnpartnership offers grant funding, Business Partnership Support, of 85% for projects in Mozambique. Finnish companies can apply for the grant for this trip if the idea is to build a long-term business partnership in Mozambique, not just an export project.

Mozambique is a country with a young and growing population, eager to develop its business environment. The country also has good access and trade links with other Southern African countries and serves as an export and import gateway to other landlocked neighbouring countries. Last year, a delegation led by the President of Mozambique visited Finland with the aim of increasing bilateral trade relations. Read more about the visit and market opportunities.
