Nordic-Africa EV Summit

The Embassy of Finland in Addis Ababa is pleased to invite your company to participate in the Nordic-Africa EV Summit, to be held at the Science Museum in Addis Ababa from 14 to 16 September 2026.

Organised in partnership with the Nordic embassies; the Ministry of Transport and Logistics of Ethiopia, and international partners, the summit will bring together key stakeholders to advance business opportunities across the electric mobility value chain in Africa, ahead of COP32 in 2027.

In Ethiopia, for Finnish companies, the summit will create business opportunities to collaborate with local private sector and government stakeholders in smart-grid technologies, energy management
systems, EV infrastructure technologies, renewable energy systems and more. Your participation would greatly enrich the summit, fostering collaboration, innovation, and mutually beneficial business engagement between Finland and Ethiopia, as well as across the broader African market. For participating Finnish companies, the Finnish Embassy is also willing to organise a dedicated side event to help them directly meet with key private sector players in Ethiopia for potential collaboration as well as government stakeholders.
