Handicraft, textile and interior design companies – let’s go to Mongolia!
Come with us to Mongolia and discover the producers and products of cashmere and yak wool on the spot! Finnpartnership is organising a trip to Ulaanbaatar in early October in cooperation with the Embassy of Finland, Business Finland and Finnish companies. The group currently includes companies from the mining, energy and mechanical engineering industries, but we also invite companies interested in importing cashmere, yak wool and wool products, which the local partner Business Council for Mongolia (BCM) particularly hopes to participate.
A joint Doing Business with Finland seminar and Matchmaking event will be held in Ulaanbaatar on 3 October, and the program will continue with Mining Expo 2023 in the following days. During the Expo, BCM will organise an interesting program for the participating companies interested in cashmere and yak wool, during which they will have the opportunity to learn about the primary production and further processing of wool.
Mongolia is the world’s second largest producer of cashmere wool and Mongolian companies are actively seeking Nordic companies as partners.
If you are planning a potential import project, you can apply for Business Partnership Support funding to support your trip. A virtual information session will be organised for participants on 19 September at 9-11am. If you are still considering whether to participate, you can register for the information session here and decide afterwards if you want to join. The programme of the trip is free of charge for companies (including the exhibition stand), but participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
Take advantage of this special opportunity and join us for an unforgettable experience!
