Mountain Hazelnuts is seeking a strategic partnership with a Finnish importer, distributor, agent, or representative to introduce and establish their premium, sustainably grown hazelnuts in the Finnish market. They are particularly interested in collaborators with a strong network in the food retail, specialty gourmet, health food, and/or HoReCa (Hotel/Restaurant/Catering) sectors.

Mountain Hazelnuts is a social enterprise in the Kingdom of Bhutan working with more than 8,000 smallholder farmers across the country to cultivate hazelnuts, whilst fostering a sustainable way of life that uplifts communities, revitalizes landscapes, and preserves Bhutan’s cultural heritage. They sell high quality, delicious retail and wholesale hazelnuts – raw, roasted or blanched.
Markets and customers
Their main market is Australia, and they are in the midst of diversifying into Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and India in the short term, and New Zealand, EU and the US in the medium term.

A company representative will be visiting Helsinki and is available for meetings on 29.1.2026 with interested Finnish importers, distributors, agents, or representatives to introduce and establish their premium, sustainably grown hazelnuts in the Finnish market.
