TECHFEST Vietnam 2022 explored the innovative solutions of the future

The Ministry of Science and Technology in Vietnam organized the 8th TECHFEST Vietnam successfully from 2nd to 4th December 2022 in Binh Duong Province. TECHFEST Vietnam was inspired by Slush Finland and the Innovation Partnership Programme, an ODA funded programme from 2009-2019 funded by the government of Finland to support Vietnamese start-up ecosystem.

With the theme “Open Innovation Ecosystem – The Next Big Think”, TECHFEST Vietnam 2022 aimed to promote innovative solutions from start-ups in the age of rapidly developing technology, and attract resources of experts, intellectuals, domestic entrepreneurs, and overseas Vietnamese to grow the economy. At the same time, this year TECHFEST wanted to inspire, arouse the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship to all classes of people, businesses, and especially the youth and students, following the orientations from the Prime Minister, expressing the great desire for a better and more civilized future.

During the TECHFEST Vietnam 2022, the representative of the Finnpartnership discussed with the Ministry of Science and Technology on how to include Finnish companies and organizations in the innovation sector and start-up ecosystem in Vietnam. Some potential opportunities can be in education, start-up, entrepreneurship and innovation.
