Team Finland activities in the spotlight in Vietnam

The Embassy of Finland in Vietnam hosted a meeting for Finnish companies on 20 March in Southern Vietnam. The meeting gave a chance for the companies to hear how Team Finland organisations can support them in doing business in Vietnam. The participants also learned about the support instruments provided by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Business Finland and Finnpartnership. Additionally, the meeting zoomed in on the forthcoming events and recent developments in the business environment.

Finnpartnership’s Regional Coordinator for Asia, Tam Nguyen presented Finnpartnership’s Business Partnership Support to the participating companies and how the funding can be utilised in the internationalisation of their businesses. Key part of the meeting was exchanges on market access issues and possible trade barriers. Companies shared about their current challenges with customs procedures, licencing, tariffs, and other mechanisms. Moreover, ideas about how to make the best use of the Team Finland network were discussed.
