Finnish companies’ interest in developing markets remains at a high level, as in the previous year. The main area of interest is Ukraine, where almost a third of 2025 financial grant applications have been directed. The next most popular countries have been Vietnam and India. The largest single sector has been construction.

Our grant processing will continue as normal throughout the summer, with companies that submitted their applications between May and June receiving requests for further clarification on their project during July. A request for further clarification is always a good opportunity to provide information in favor of the project to our analysts handlers. It is also important to be vigilant for projects that are due for payment, so that the reimbursement request for payment is submitted on time. Projects are valid for two years from the date of the grant decision.
