Monitoring and reporting make progress visible – July greetings from the team
The Business Partnership Support granted by Finnpartnership is part of Finland’s official development cooperation. The support primarily targets the early stages of projects, although the development impacts often become visible only later, once business operations in the target country are properly underway.
Information on the impacts of the supported projects is collected through follow-up surveys, which are sent after the support period has ended.
During this spring and summer, we have gathered responses from recipients who received support in 2021, and we are currently analysing the results. A summary will be published on our website later this year.
Collecting results ensures that development cooperation funds are used responsibly and effectively. It also helps assess the success of projects and improve operations.
In addition, we monitor 4 to 5 projects more closely each year. These monitoring visits provide further insight into project implementation and, where necessary, support for the companies involved. In some cases, we also use a tool to collect anonymous feedback from local employees – this provides valuable information for business development.
Reporting and monitoring support Finnpartnership’s development work and ensure that our activities align with the objectives of the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
Thank you for responding to our surveys – your input is highly valuable! Wishing you a beautiful July!
