At Finnpartnership, our mission is to promote business between Finland and developing markets. As the name already says, partnerships and cooperation are at the very core of everything we do.

We offer several platforms for connecting companies. Certainly, the most tangible way are events. Every year, Finnpartnership organises numerous seminars in Finland and developing markets, and connects companies at Team Finland exhibition booths.

If Finnpartnership’s November has a topic, it is most definitely Ukraine. We will organise a total of three Ukraine-focused events this month: kicking off with a hybrid Finland-Ukraine matchmaking event on 19th November, continuing with live meetings with four Ukrainian construction companies in Helsinki and concluding with a webinar on intellectual property, both taking place on 20th November.

Nearly 200 companies looking for partners from Finland

Besides events, another avenue to find potential new business partners is to browse our B2B matchmaking database. The database consists of nearly 200 companies from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Southeast Europe looking for Finnish partners. The registered companies are interested in partnering with Nordic companies that provide knowledge or technologies for their local projects or are searching for a partner to export their products to Finland or Europe.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of three professionals works to ensure the success of our matchmaking activities: Besides me based in Helsinki, since 2023 Trang Nguyen has been our Programme Officer for Asia and this spring Tetiana Filipovych joined supporting our activities as Regional Coordinator in Ukraine.

Mark your calendars for future events

With regards to partnerships, there are still a few dates to mark in your calendars for the remainder of the year: our colleagues from Vietnam, Trang and Huong, will be visiting Helsinki in early December.

From our matchmaking companies, the Brazilian food and beverage exporter Imprav will be available for live meetings from December 2025 to February 2026. You can email me to secure your slot.
