The social enterprise operating in agriculture, livestock, forestry and fishery is searching for Finnish investors and companies with technology, know-how and machinery to scale-up activities.
Offering
The company’s objective is to provide appropriate seed solutions to Somali farmers. CSET’s aim is to revolutionize the provision of farming and fishery services by creating a more sustainable service delivery model. The social enterprise provides consultancy support as well as training to farmers. The farming community operating in collaboration with CSET produces e.g. maize and sorghum beans, sesame and ground nuts among other agricultural products.
Markets and customers
The company is currently working with the government and development agencies such as USAID and CARE International to strengthen existing farmer and fishery service providers across Somalia to enable them to have a more sustainable service delivery.
