Meet frozen berries and fruits producers from Serbia

One of Europe’s leading suppliers of frozen berries and fruits, Serbia is bringing its top exporters to Helsinki to build direct, long-term relationships with Finnish buyers. On 22-24 September, a delegation of six leading Serbian producers specialising in premium frozen and organic berries and fruits will travel to Helsinki and its surroundings for pre-arranged B2B meetings with Finnish importers, wholesalers, food industry buyers and retail procurement contacts.

Trusted by major food manufacturers and specialty importers across Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands, these Serbian exporters bring proven track records, and now, ambitions for the Nordics. With a combined annual production capacity of over 30,000 tonnes, their portfolio runs deep: IQF and block-frozen raspberries, strawberries, sour cherries, plums and blackberries, dried and processed fruit, fruit purées, preparations, and private label production.

The delegation brings a strong certification profile across both food safety and sustainability standards, including FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000, BRCGS, IFS Food, GLOBALG.A.P. and EU Organic, with individual companies additionally holding Bio Suisse, KRAV, Naturland, SMETA and Kosher/Halal certification – reflecting years of experience supplying European buyers. All participating companies hold organic certification, offering Finnish buyers the option to source certified organic alongside conventional volumes – making this delegation relevant for a wide range of buyers across dairy, bakery, confectionery, baby food and foodservice industries.
