KHID Training and Production Collective Enterprise

Cooperation proposal

KHID is seeking cooperation in several areas: setting up a joint venture in Lviv (90 km from the Polish border) to produce goods for European partners; undertaking contract work for a Finnish company and exporting products across Europe; and exploring other opportunities in Ukraine’s garment production, such as joint grant projects to support Ukraine’s economic recovery and assist war veterans and people with disabilities. The company also operates a non-profit organization focused on revitalizing Ukraine’s economy.

Offering

KHID is a Lviv based clothing manufacturing company established in 1996 by the Lviv Regional Fund for Social Protection and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities. KHID is an all-female team with a long-standing tradition of employing seamstresses with disabilities. With nearly 30 years of experience in the light industry, the company specializes in a wide range of apparel, including clothing for people with disabilities. KHID has expertise in crafting workwear like overalls and women’s garments such as blouses, skirts, and pants. Since 2022, they have been producing sleeping bags and stretchers for Ukraine’s Armed Forces. The company is capable of providing sewing services for any light industry product.

Markets and customers

The primary clients are Ukrainian companies that produce goods for the government. KHID acts as a contractor for several Ukrainian businesses and is currently completing orders for hospital gowns in Denmark through a Ukrainian intermediary. The company’s mission is to support people with disabilities by providing them opportunities to earn an income.

Additional information

Finnish partners will be able to support and restore Ukraine in modernizing the production, helping Ukrainian enterprises enter foreign markets, and supporting people with disabilities in Ukraine.
