Project abstractVokenel Limited, Kenyan company specialised in producing organic (ECOCERT) baobab oil and fruit powder products is searching for Finnish (EU) partners to export baobab oil and baobab fruit powder.
Project descriptionThe company, established in 2017 is based in Nairobi and currently employs 15 persons.
The company manufactures fruit powder products and organic baobab oil for different cosmetic uses (e.g. for skin nourishment, damage healing, cleansing, moisturizing, under-eye bag removal, collagen production boost, inflammatory skin condition (eczema, psoriasis) treatment, stretch mark prevention and appearance reduction, lip soothing, dry / dull hair rescue, scalp soothing) or baobab fruit powder to be used as an ingredient, in healthy bars, juices, cereals, milk shakes, smoothies, fruit salads, baking, porridge, other instant drinks, etc. to feature weight loss support, cholesterol burning, immunity improvement, liver detoxification and anti-aging properties with great nutritional value (vitamin C; 6 x orange, calcium; 4 x milk, magnesium, potassium, fiber and anti-oxidants).
The customers so far have been in Kenya: Zucchini Greengrocers, MyDawa Online Pharmacy, Kamindi Supermarkets, Kikuyu Supermarkets, Carrefour, Healthy u, etc., and abroad smaller clients: in Norway Rachel Mwakazi’s and in the UK Zoe Adjonyoh’s operations.
The company is currently looking for a partner to whom sell the production in bulk that could use it in their production or even repackage the product in their own brand. If a client wishes Vokenel to use its own brands and packaging, it is also possible.
