Project abstractUniversidad Autónoma San Luis de Potosí – UASLP is a public university from Mexico specialised in offering education services. Their educational services are categorised as high school, undergraduate and postgraduate studies. They are currently searching for Finnish expertise, know-how and transfer of technology within the educational system.
Project descriptionUASLP was established in 1923 and based in San Luis de Potosí and the “Unidad Académica multidisciplinaria Zona Huasteca (UAMZH)” was founded in 1984. They currently have at their premises 33 556 permanent staff members.
The UASLP services are classified as high school, undergraduate, postgraduate studies. These services are distributed within 8 university campuses, 15 schools, 2 Academic Units, 1 High school, 7 Research institutes and 3 Centres of Research, Science and Technology.
Their customers are located mainly in Mexico, but they have foreign exchange students at their campuses. They have signed agreements with the following organisations and universities: Bornholms Museum (Denmark), the University of Zaragoza (Spain), the University of Huelva (Spain), the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne (Germany) Manche (Spain), French Institute of Advanced Mechanics (France), University of Murcia (Spain), Windsheim University of Applied Sciencie (Holland), South Bohemian University (Czech Republic), Linköping University (Sweden).
The UASLP is looking for Finnish partners to provide transfer of technology, know–how in educational sector. Additionally, they are looking for partners who are interested in establishing long term international cooperation agreements, mobility programmes, and pilot projects aimed at education and application of applied sciences with students and professors.
