The company’s main services are in logistics, freight forwarding on the ground and offshore, and import & export services.
The provision of logistics services is weak and undiversified in Cameroon. Smaller national operators such as Transinor, are the most important segment in terms of numbers (at least 80% of all operators), but in contrast represent an insignificant portion of the market because they do not have material, financial and human resources to ensure proper business development.
These smaller national operators run small businesses in the supply chain or their activities are limited to two types of transactions in the chain: customs and delivery services with equipment they do not own. A potential partner could provide innovative solutions and investment for Transinor to develop their transportation, transit and integrated logistics and the storage services.
