The company offers various services to its customers, including e-classrooms that allow students to virtually contribute to their learning, e-libraries where students can access countless books for revision or reading, and career guidance mentorships with assigned teachers. A student also has access to school portals to find assignments and recorded class sessions from the student’s teachers. All these services are accessed for free when a user is an MTN customer, making the site cost and consumer-friendly.
Smartclass Ltd's customers so far have been public and private high schools and individual students. They have over 11,000 regular customers in 2 years, an excellent record for a Rwandan ed-tech startup. The company is currently looking for a partner to help it improve its current systems while sourcing new features such as Gamification and AI tools and E-Laboratories on its e-learning platform to enhance automation, user engagement, and experience and a partner who would be interested in joining the company as they expand their operations to other East Africa nations like Burundi, Uganda, or Tanzania in the next 4-5+ years.
