Project descriptionSignum Company Limited, is based in Nairobi and currently employs 10 persons.
The company procures leather products and high quality organic coffee from Ethiopia and other regions for delivery to businesses within the Eastern Africa Region and beyond. The leather products sold by the company include e.g. men’s shoes, ladies’ shoes, handbags, belts and wallets. The products can be tailor-made to customers’ specifications.
The customers so far have been private companies and individual customers from Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi. Their online business allows them to export their products worldwide.
The company is currently looking for a joint venture partner in order to enable the company grow faster, increase productivity and generate greater profits. The company is also seeking access to new markets and distribution networks, increased capacity, sharing of risks and costs (i.e. liability) with a business partner.
