Project descriptionShimba Technologies Limited, established in 2009 is based in Nairobi, Kenya and currently employs 16 persons.
The company specializes in building both mobile and web solutions. The main solutions provided are BizKit (a sales force tool), BizFlow (real time collaboration tool for SME businesses to track sales, stocks and expenses) and customer registration tool (KYC tool with optical character recognition tool). The company has received awards e.g. in Ericsson Application Awards 2012 and in Pivot25 (2011) for their solutions.
The customers so far have been telecommunication companies (customer registration tool and Bizkit), small and medium enterprises (Bizflow), insurance companies (customer registration tool), pharmacies (Bizflow), financial institutions (customer registration tool and Bizkit). Government institutions from the county and general public (Medafrica).
Shimba Technologies Limited is currently looking for a partner to become a subcontractor for a Finnish company.
