Project abstractRaymisa S.A., a Peruvian Fair Trade certified family company specialised in high quality Alpaca fibre, Pima and Tanguis cotton textiles, and furniture and home décor products, is searching for partners for expanding their textile business to Finland.

Project description

The company, established in 1986 is based in Miraflores, Lima, and currently employs 12 persons.

The company’s main products include their own textile collection of quality Alpaca Fibre, Pima and Tanguis cotton. Raymisa can also do production cooperation according to customer specifications and develop new products in accordance to clients needs. The MM company launched recently its own fashion label called Inti Peru, representing the indigenous culture and heritage of Peru.

Raymisa S.A. was founded in 1986 by Orlando Vasquez-Buenaño, and is currently doing cooperation with companies and local fair trade associations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United States and Japan. The MM company is a certified Fair Trade company committed to the Word Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) principles and social responsibility in all their work to support local marginalized communities.

The company is currently looking for a partner, e.g. Fair Trade stores, organisations, stores and wholesalers, to buy and promote Raymisa’s textiles, and do cooperation in production technology, operations management and new design.
