Project descriptionPromotora de Servicios Educativos Jean Le Boulch SRL is a Peruvian school located in La Molina district part of the Lima province. The school was established in 1983, and currently employs around 115 persons. Their education programmes serve students from preschool (kindergarten), primary school and high school (16 years). The school is based on a methodology called “the Movement in Education” proposed by Dr. Jean Le Boulch , this method uses body movement in all forms as a pedagogical tool. It’s something similar as learning by playing approach.
The school provides to their students’ classes in English and French. The programme begins with the introduction of the English language at the preschool stage, and from the first grade onwards they intensify the functional aspects of grammar and phonetics. The teaching of French begins in the fourth grade of primary education, once the students have become familiar with the grammatical structure and phonetics of the English language. The students are able to get First Certificate in English (FCE), awarded by the University of Cambridge.
A video presentation of the School is available at: https://youtu.be/dxypsUkXCHE and a video from the student’s experiences available at https://youtu.be/Bd4AVp_fB_Y
The school is looking for partners in Finland who can provide transfer of technology and know–how in educational purposes for pre-school, primary and high school. Such partner would provide technological platforms for educational purposes (gamification) and offer an innovative approach to teaching, elearning and blended learning methods. Moreover, the school would like to hear proposals from partners in the education sector for pilot projects and long-term collaboration agreements between institutions.
