Project abstractPAMOC - Procesadora de Productos de la Amazonia Monte Carlos, Bolivian company specialized in collection and processing of Brazilian walnuts, is searching for Finnish investors and Finnish partners for conducting a market research.
Project descriptionPAMOC - Procesadora de Productos de la Amazonia Monte Carlos, established in 2010 is based in Riberalta, Beni, Bolivia and currently employs 192 persons.
The company’s main products include Brazilian walnuts. PAMOC collects and stockpiles Amazonian Walnut (BERTHOLLETIA EXCELSA), commercially designated as "Shelled Brazil Nut".
PAMOC produces different types of qualities:
1) First quality: Walnut that does not present chippings, is not split and does not present oil diffusion or an uncharacteristic color, distributed in the following types:
-Medium: 1 lb. Contains 110 to 129 units
-Dwarf (Midget): 1 lb. Contains 160 to 179 units
-Small (Tiny): 1 lb. Contains 180 to 220 units
-Mixed sizes: They Are whole benefited walnuts of different calibers mixed in different proportions.
2) Second quality (Chipped kernels): Walnut beneficiary that can present either of these two characteristics:
-Chipped and/or cracked up to 1/8 of its original size
-Oil diffusion and/or a non-characteristic color to full beneficed almond
Third quality (Broken kernels): Walnut benefited split and/or trimmed up to 7/8 of its original size which in turn sub-classify in:
-Normal broken (standard broken)
-Special broken (special broken)
The products have certified quality for international markets and so far the customers have been from the United States of America and European Union countries .
The company is currently looking for a partner operating in connection to the Finnish food processing industry. They are also looking for investment and a partner to conduct a market research to help introducing Bolivian products to the Finnish market.
