Project abstractThe NM2 is a Brazilian company with 3 years old engaged in the development of technologies related to basic sanitation for the treatment of effluents and sludge, with generation of biogas / energy and high quality biofertilizer. The company is looking for a partner(s) to contribute technologically with business on the recycling, sorting and management of all kind of waste materials.
Project descriptionThe company established in 2017 is based in Rio de Janeiro and currently employs 4 persons directly and 8 people indirectly.
The company operates in treatment of waste for fertilizer and biogas purposes. The company owns the patenting technology in the biological treatment of organic matter (patented in Brazil), with international classification. The company has been operating in partnership with the university in Rio de Janeiro and the Finep (Brazilian Innovation Agency) and they are the winner of best a startup of the year 2020 in Rio de Janeiro’s State university. The company has concluded all stages of studies, prototyping, modelling, market testing, partnerships with institutions, pilot plants and now the structuring of industrial units. The company has the support letter of two deputies and one senator in recognition of their good work and relevant solution for the environment and society.
The NM2 company has two effluent treatment stations and there is a third station in the contracting/implementation phase. The company is proposing a partnership with the government of an important city and a landfill company in Brazil. One of their goals is to build an MSW treatment plant - in industrial format - that will receive 200 tons of organic waste per day.
The company is looking for partner(s) to contribute technologically with his business. For the technological input, the company are open to discuss and enhance the efficiency and other parameters of the project. The project foresees a joint venture with those companies which deals with solutions for recycling, sorting, and management of all kind of waste materials by reducing the amount of waste being landfilled are welcome to further enhance the project. In Brazil there is the possibility of implementing, together with NM2 technology and different MSW setup plants: from plants 100% automated technology to plants without automated selection.
