MitiMeth is an women-led arts crafts and design company. Their main products include hand-made home accent furniture, throw pillows, keyholders stationery, dining ware, gourd art, wall décor (woven tiles, mirrors and wall clocks), tree ornaments, planters and rugs. According to the company their target customers are local and international corporations, national institutions, fashion designers, wholesale retail outlets (e.g. boutiques, museums, duty free shops) and eco-conscious consumers.
The customers so far have been corporate buyers, retailers and wholesalers.
MitiMeth is currently looking for a partner to start distribution of handmade décor products in Finland and EU. The company also offers other possible projects including outsourcing production, access to local market and they are interested in collaboration in the area of bio-based materials. In particular, MitiMeth wants to create bio-composites from water hyacinth and other stronger partner fibres for universal products that have global demand. MitiMeth is interested in open innovation and technical assistance to accomplish this objective.
