Project abstractMai Vietnamese Handicrafts, a Vietnamese company specialised in manufacturing handicrafts by disadvantaged families, is searching for Finnish partners for representing and distributing their products in Finland and neighbouring countries.
Project description
The company, established in 1990 is based in Ho Chi Minh City and currently employs 24 persons.
The company’s main products include handicrafts and the company operate on a non-profit business model and supports 18 different groups as per following: 2 enterprises, 8 small businesses and 8 Families. The support offered by the company to those “groups” range as per following:
- Loans
- Cash-flow financing
- Technical assistance
- Product development
- Production support
The company catalogue includes 7,000+ products and they can also produce tailor made or design based products. The company have very reasonable MOQ and is certified Fair Trade by WTO.
The customers so far have been e.g. Australian, Swedish, French, Belgian, Japan and American.
The company is currently looking for a partner to distribute their products and support them in finding new potential clients in Finland and neighbouring countries.
