Project descriptionKivuGreen Corporation, established in 2017, is based in Goma, DRC, and currently employs four persons.
The company operates in e-commerce and logistic and they own a digital platform that helps to bridge the gap between farmers in rural areas and buyers in the cities. KivuGreen's platform is designed to help advertise the agricultural goods of the farmers. They aim to move the products this way faster to the final buyers to avoid spoilage. KivuGreen is the first e-commerce platform ever published in North Kivu.
The customers so far have been farmers, restaurants and hotels and schools in North Kivu in Goma and Kinshasa.
The company is currently looking for a partner to invest to the operations and provide expertise for developing the operations further. According to the company their solution is scalable and there is a significant market for the solution. For the partner who will be interested, KivuGreen will make a presentation of the current situation on the market and pinpoints areas of improvement.
