Kartoza is a South Africa-based Free and Open Source Geographic Information Systems (FOSSGIS) service provider. They use GIS software to solve complex location-related problems for individuals, businesses and governments around the world. Their team develops software using FOSSGIS to give clients the freedom to share and modify their GIS as their needs grow and change. The company provides services of development, implementation, consulting, training and support Open Source spatial IT solutions.

The customers so far have been international NGOs such as UN and World Bank and Governments and private companies, mainly B2B.

Kartoza (PTY) LTD is currently looking for Finnish partners to start JV cooperation in projects related to spatial IT solutions.
