Project descriptionThe company, established in 2012 is based in Mogadishu, Somalia and currently employs 94 persons.
The company’s main products include clean bottled water. Ijaabo Water is a wholesale business that provides various products and services including distribution of clean water to 3500 - 6000 domestic homes in Mogadishu. Company also has contracts with international partners to deliver clean water. Company´s water supply systems get water from a variety of locations after appropriate treatment. The water treatment steps include, in most cases, purification, disinfection through chlorination and sometimes fluoridation.
The company is currently looking for a Finnish joint venture partner and company with technology and know-how related to water. Ijaabo Water is looking to extend and scale-up its production, open new branches in Somalia and implement a water quality test facility in their premises in collaboration with a Finnish business partner.
