Project abstractHamkar Construction, an Afghan company specialised in construction, is searching for Finnish partners for knowledge and technology transfer and building together the capacity for bidding on larger projects in Afghanistan.
Project description
The company, established in 2002 is based in Kabul, Afghanistan and currently employs 30 persons.
The company’s main services include building of commercial and residential structures, road and bridge design and construction, sanitation and irrigation work.
The customers so far have been the UN, NGO, governmental organizations and private organizations. Hamkar is a well know brand to the aforementioned organizations and they have good connections with ministries in Afghanistan.
The company is currently looking for a partner to expand their activities and to build together the capacity for bidding on larger projects in Afghanistan. Hamkar is searching for a Finnish partner that could transfer know-how, technology and has financial capabilities for larger projects in Afghanistan. The company can select and follow project announcements and together with Finnish companies they could increase a chance of gaining a contract and introducing Finnish technologies into Afghanistan markets.
