Project description
The company, established in 2008 is based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and currently employs 6 persons.
The company’s main products include Key-X (intelligent keyboard and mouse) and a-blinX (adaptive switch triggered by the eyeblink). In addition, special application and software are offered to complete they Key-X package for ideal and functioning communication.
The customers so far have been disabled people and their families, rehabilitation clinics and schools.
The company is currently looking for a partner to find buyers for the products and distributors, who can help the company to expand to European market. Geraes recognises the Finnish society as a place, where disabled people have chances to do same things as average people; to study and work, communicate, travel etc. The product is a unique innovation and offers improved solutions also for Finnish market.
Company’s goal in the short future is to focus more on education and gaming. Key-X allows children and all age of people to play games like their peers and it can be used in e-learning spaces such as technology-based platforms, webpages, apps etc. The aim is to have partnerships with game companies such as Rovio, and with these companies to develop games that can be played by disabled people. The company’s goal is to make sure that no one feels excluded from the society of our modern days which are full of social media, learning, games and other kind of interaction and communication.
