Project descriptionThe company established in 2009 is based in São João do Cariri (Paraíba), Brazil and currently employs 25 persons.

The products on their portfolio varies from unprocessed pepper (Beak Peppers and Malagueta “chili”), pepper source and pepper jam. The beak pepper is a mild and sweet pepper while the Malagueta has the strong piquancy. The portfolio of the company is widely sold on public markets on small cities and other bigger cities. And the company sells their products also on retails shops: supermarket and grocery. The company which attends the local region has recently spread to retail shop towards other state selling their products to a wide-ranging company specialized on selected food products. The company holds the certification of quality and sanitation for the production method issued by the University Federal of Campina Grande (Brazil) – Food Microbiology Laboratory. The company has the certificate of family agriculture. This seal of family agriculture adds value to the product for the good practices of cultivation. The seal certifies that the product is made or cultivated without pesticides and produced in a clean and healthy way.

The company’s main products include unprocessed pepper (natural organic products of hydroponics) the pepper (little beak pepper and Malagueta) and also the sauce of pepper and pepper jam. The local customers have been very satisfied with the products and the company is intending to export their products also to the European market.
