Project abstractBlue Future Investments, a South African company specializing in management consulting, financial consulting and human resource management, provides technology applications and platforms for its clients to perform a range of services for their customers, businesses and employees. The company is currently looking for a partner to provide technical and operational experience for the commercialization for a renewable energy project. Blue Future Investments is searching for Finnish partners to participate in a new line of business in the renewable energy sector. They are looking for a business partner capable of providing technology and/or operational systems. The potential partner should have the strength to participate in the new business activity planned investments, including piloting and the roll out of the commercialization project in renewable energy.

Blue Future Investments, a South African company specialising in management consulting, financial consulting, and human resource management, provides technology applications and platforms for its clients to perform a range of services for their customers, businesses and employees. The company’s applications cover performance reviews, surveys and assessments for employee engagement, customer satisfaction, compliance and the workplace culture and technology which is utilised to provide training content for employees and customers. The business includes a BPO (business process outsourcing) house together with the management and placement of employees.The customers so far have been engaging over several years and typically subscribe to a number of the range of services that the company offers. Mostly focused in the SME market but across various industries.

Blue Future Investments has spent considerable time and effort in market research, proof of concept and the establishment of a feasible and realistic community based residential and SMME business plan to target a selection of South Africa energy consumers to offer them alternative and sustainable sources of renewable energy. Blue Future has already set up a company where the research and business case studies are being done (Blue Power Solutions). Blue Power Solutions has been identified as the possible research, marketing utility and roll out company name for the project including its involvement with a number of pilot projects for solar and battery energy installations in South Africa. The pilot projects have confirmed the viability of the proof of concept and been the basis for the subsequent business case study and resultant business plan.

Blue Future Investments is looking for technological partners from solar, PV, Hydrogen space to come on board and improve the technology and piloting of a model that can rapidly be upscale to other provinces and countries in Africa and remote, poorly or costly served global locations, replacing utility grid power at a cheaper price and fully reliable supply. The company target is SEM 8-10 = 8.38 million, 63% found in Gauteng & Western Cape and the company CRM target model is of 5.3 million, of which they aim to establish 5,197 customers from 90,000 households (6%) together with the vocational training and setting a technicom.
