Project abstractBIOLCOM CIA. LTDA., the Ecuadorian company specialized in produce natural healthy products, is searching for Finnish and European partners for import and distribute the products to Europe and Finland.
Project descriptionThe company established in 2002 is based in Ecuador and currently employs 7 persons.
The company’s main superfood healthy products include Sacha inchi oil, Cocoa vinegar, Dried tropical fruits, Dried fruit with chocolate (baby banana, Golden berry - physalis, pineapple, blackberries, coffee beans), Cocoa beans chocolate covered, Tropical fruit vinegar, Tropical fruit juice (100% natural) without any artificial components, sugar free, no water added. They also have a project to beginning the creation of a Natural Energy Drink from the jungle gardens of Ecuador to produce and distribute in world market. There is a herb which grows exclusively in the Amazon Jungle of Ecuador which contains several times the caffeine than in coffee, called Guayusa. According to the company it is a perfect ingredient for a natural energy drink and locals have been using this herb for centuries, in order to be alert when hunting at night. The company wants to convert it into an Energy drink with your assistance and your benefits. According to the company its not the only secret of the Rainforest. There are many more we investigated, to be mixed with Guayusa and obtain several benefits for health and Wellness.
The customers so far have been in Japan - luxury stores: Sony Plaza – Ginza, Tokyo Hands - Nagoya, Hankyu Umeda – Osaka and in Ecuador retail market and specialized stores. Biolcom used to export all its production in the past, the most important markets were Japan, Turkey, Sweden, Australia, Germany, Uruguay and USA. After that, they had focused in the local market to obtain some government benefits. Now, they are focused in the international market again. Some of the business partners are: Farmers snack, Yamate partners, Oriental Aid, Neutral Duty Free. Their international customers are distributors, duty frees, special and luxury stores.
The company is currently looking for a partner to import and retail of the above products to Finland and other European countries to reopen the company’s international activities in Europe.
