Project abstractBestMark School of Excellence and Entrepreneurship Training, Zambian company specialised in training ICT skills, General Education from Pre-School to grade 12, to General Certificate of Education (GSE students), and Entrepreneurship, is searching for Finnish partners for upscaling their operations and technical training. In addition, BestMark is looking for funding or partnership from Finland.
Project descriptionBestMark School of Excellence and Entrepreneurship Training is a start up company established in 2017 in Kitwe, Zambia and the company currently employs 15 persons.
The company currently has over 61 General Certificate of Education (GSE) students and other students are doing short courses which includes ICT skills under entrepreneurship root for 3 months. According to BestMark their program strives to open the school of education to offer early childhood, primary, secondary and adult education for teachers have reached an advanced stage. The company also aims at opening a school of nursing. Currently the BestMark is training students in ICT Skills, butter production and other self-sustaining courses aimed at self-sustenance and self-reliance. The company has recently been registered by TEVETA and has partnered with International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigations Professions Inc. which is a credited tuition centre to provide forensic training.
The company is currently looking for universities and companies that are interested in investing. This would allow to further develop the operations by getting 1) more computers for the enrolled students 2) education related professional and technical training.
