Project abstractArmstrong SRL is a Peruvian company specialized in textile industry audits and agency, and is searching for Finnish companies interested in textile industry agency services in Peru.
Project description
The company, established in 1996 is based in Peru and currently employs 15 persons.
The company’s main services include finding the right factory for production, development/production follow-up, inline inspections, final audits and issuing a certificate of inspection. Armstrong SRL is hoping to sell the textile products Peru has, and this includes organic cotton clothing, natural fibres like Alpaca and Vicunha for sweaters and for home textiles (blankets, throw-overs, etc.), Pima cotton garments in different blends and local fibres like cotton & alpaca blends etc. The company has been auditing production using AQL 2.5 standards, but the company is willing to improve the standards according to clients’ needs.
Armstrong SRL has 18 years of solid experience on the market, with excellent reputation for credibility, honesty and proven export experience for different markets. The company offers different factory options for big volume productions to medium/ small volume productions. Armstrong SRL visits their clients at least twice a year, bring new tendencies and new print / fabric techniques every season to inspire clients’ creative departments, and send the new tendencies every season so that the clients have the latest improvements in the fashion business.
The customers so far have been numerous international brands; the company has provided agent services for Abercrombie and Fitch/Hollister for 12 years in Brazil and Peru, being elected the best agent worldwide for these brands. Armstrong SRL has also served American Eagle Outfitters, being the 5th world supplier. In addition the company has served ESPRIT for over 10 years producing in Peru and Brazil. The company has been an agent for BCBG, Patagonia, Calvin Klein, and many other brands in the USA; and for Brazilian brands, like Richards, Tottem, Animale, Ellus, Le Lis, Noir, John John, BGO, Heriing, Marisol Malhas, and many others. In the Nordic countries the company has worked with MIKKO, and RICCO VERO (Norway) and HUMMEL (Denmark) through their office located in Portugal.
The company is currently looking for partners interested in textile production in Peruvian factories.
