Project abstractAlternative Food Trading, is a Bolivian company specialized in the production and commercialization of Japanese style peanuts. The company also provides consulting services in the field of food. The company is searching for Finnish partners for the commercialization of Japanese style peanut in Finland. Alternative Food Trading is also interested in buying technology and machinery for increase its volume of production.
Project descriptionAlternative Food Tradinh was established in 2016 and it is based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, currently employs 4 people.
The company’s main products include the peanuts (Japanese style) offered in following flavors: onion, garlic, spicy, sugar coverage with sesame and coverage of chocolate.
The customers so far have been from regional market and three of the biggest cities in Bolivia Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Sucre and La Paz. Currently. The company is well-positioned in the local market, focusing on supermarkets and hotels and they are the only company selling the peanuts with the Japanese style in Bolivia
The company is currently looking for a partner to developing a long-term business relationship, also to commercialize their snacks as a new way to eat peanuts. The company also wants to acquire technology and machinery such as: toasters, mixers, and machinery for packing and packaging of the peanut.
