Description of co-operation and expected input of the partner
Background: During the Pre-university education conference 29-31 March 2015, it was according to African Waves obvious that numerous (More than 10) private educational institutes are willing to acquire an Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP). The huge number of governmental schools may enjoy a customized version. Analysis of the market will precede marketing efforts. The Marketing efforts may also include colleges and higher educational institutes.
African Waves vision for this project is to become the leading wireless communication enabler in the education arena by exceeding professional standards while offering outstanding value in all the company´s relevant deliverables.
The cooperation: The partnership will jointly develop and deploy a customizable on-line Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for private and governmental educational and health care institutions that would enable them to foster and improve their deliverables and become more competitive and more profitable. The ERP would also help creating professionally controlled collaborative projects among institutions of similar missions but in different Geographic locations country wide.
The system will be deployed country wide in Egypt. It will be used on-line by end users who subscribes to get system and support. In some main cities there may be schools who have adequate connectivity to internet through existing land lines. There are thousands of schools who do not have internet connectivity. African waves will connect them to www via satellite. Accordingly there will be two modes of subscription. One without satellite connectivity and the second one will be with satellite connectivity. There are more than 1300 schools country wide equipped with satellite connectivity to http://www. The # of schools which will need satellite connectivity may be anticipated to reach 4000.
The prime clients of the cooperation are educational institutes at all levels. Connectivity to www has become salient to maintain capabilities to provide up-to-date educational services. Acquiring an ERP (Enterprise resource planning system focusing on the operational needs of such organizations has a high potential on the short term and long term. Short term was obvious during the pre-university education of end March 2015.
As a probably feasible example to implement this project would be to jointly develop an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) system customized for Egyptian environments per http://www.fedena.com/oem_partner.
The company´s joint venture may use the Indian “FEDENA” product as a platform for its innovative proprietary OEM system with professionally balanced blend of Arabic & English terminologies and annotations.
The company may consider customizing a system for major leading client with his/her own particular input. The company may also consider a simple straight forward standard one for governmental schools and institutions. At a later stage African Waves may develop own system based on accumulated expertise during 2015-2016.
While formulating the Joint venture an organization chart and a comprehensive business process will be determined and mutually agreed. Appropriate resources will be appointed for the project. Some of them will be full time and some would be part timers according to the need. Existing office premises of African waves will be used.
