ABR Vergara Guio S.A.S is a Colombian company who commercialises their e-commerce platform Comproagro.com. This web platform allows farmers, suppliers and producers to offer their products directly to the end consumer or retail chains. Comproagro.com associates small producers to sell to large supermarket chains, giving added value to products, the website eliminates intermediaries in the process of buying and selling to improve their income.
The company was founded in 2015 and employs 25 persons. They are currently producing for the Colombian domestic markets and their clients are end consumers and retail chains such as Exito.
The company is actively looking for partners which are able to provide know-how or technology in the e-commerce sector and website development with logistics and social media integration. Their potential partner would be able to present a strong proposal to redesign Comproagro’s website and operations (supply chain and logistics).
Additionally, they are looking for partners which are able to provide know-how and technology for farming practices (planting techniques, ecosystem conservation, correct use of pesticides, organic farming and production, waste and water management) and other related agribusiness purposes. Since their clients are farmers and farmer’s associations, they want to improve the supply chain and add value with more efficient operations.
The company can offer an interesting pilot project with promising benefits, they could build an efficient e-commerce platform for agri-business.
