Meet superfood producers from Bolivia through Open Trade Gate Sweden’s (OTGS) digital B2B meetings in November

30.10.2020

Through the project (partly financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Sida, and National Board of Trade of Sweden), a group of Bolivian producers are supported as a way to increase the supply of superfoods on the Nordic market in general and the Swedish market in particular. The project focuses on training and coaching of the chosen producers with the aim to increase their attractiveness for importers in the Nordic market.

Here are examples of superfood products that part of the project. The products are exported both as natural ingredients and processed in various ways.

  • Quinoa
  • Chia
  • Amaranth
  • Canihua
  • Acai
  • Palqui
  • Maca
  • Camu-Camu

The objective is to create long-term relationships with importers in Sweden and other Nordic countries and to increase the export of the above-mentioned products to the region. To achieve this, a number of activities have been planned for 2020 and 2021.

• Bolivian producers visit Sweden/the Nordics – Q2 2021
• Nordic importers visit Bolivia – Q4 2021

•Virtual B2B – Virtual meetings between importers and exporters – November 2020

Virtual B2B meetings – Meet the producers from Bolivia!

OTGS arranges individual 30-minute meetings between exporter and importer via Skype (or similar platform). Physical samples of products will be sent to the potential importer before the meeting to create an image of the producer and what they have to offer. In good time before the meetings, a list of the producers we have selected for the meetings will be sent to you. All prospective producers have experience in exporting, speak English and have the main certificates in place.

More information about the project and access to the B2B meetings could be obtained via sending message to: Daniel Karlsson (daniel@fruconn.com), consultant of the project and Julian Sievers (julian.sievers@kommerskollegium.se), project manager of the project.
