Tunisian products attracted plenty of interest at Finnpartnership’s Habitare fair stand

25 September 2019

Finnpartnership took part in the Habitare fair (11-15 September 2019) in Helsinki with its own fair stand at the fair’s Ethical area. This year’s theme of the stand was Tunisia, and the stand, with its handmade pottery and home textile products, attracted a lot of interest among the visitors of the fair.

From Tunisia, there were two organisations present: Sejnenia, a female community that produces pottery in accordance with an ancient, recently UNESCO inscribed tradition, and L’art du Luxe, which produces quality hand-made home textiles in wool and cotton, including cushions and carpets. Finnpartnership chose these actors to its Habitare stand to highlight women entrepreneurs in the handicraft sector.

The products of the fair stand gained a lot of interest. Both Sejnenia and L’art du Luxe are currently looking for a reseller in Finland. If you are interested in the products and want to hear more, please contact Finnpartnership (Kaisa Arkkila, kaisa.arkkila@finnpartnership.fi), who can connect your company to the Tunisian organisations who were present at the fair. You can find more pictures of the products on Instagram: L’art du Luxe and Sejnenia. Please note that Finnish companies and organisations can also apply for Business Partnership Support for the preparation and training phases of importing to the EEA from developing countries. Finnpartnership also presented companies from its Matchmaking database at the fair

Embassy of Finland in Tunis and the Embassy of Tunisia in Helsinki both supported the Finnpartnership fair stand.

Finnpartnership wants to thank its partners and the visitors of the fair for a successful fair!
