The follow-up event for the first education-related SDG Booster (East Africa) will be held digitally. For the SDG Boosters focusing on education in Central Asia (Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan) and waste-to-energy in Vietnam and Thailand, the aim is to visit the region after the SDG Boosters with a follow-up event in the target countries, but if this is not possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these follow-up events will also be held digitally.

If you have signed up for an upcoming SDG Booster but cannot attend, please contact fp@finnpartnership.fi.

The SDG Boosters bring together companies, NGOs, financial instruments and thematic experts to develop solutions and projects to address concrete needs identified from developing countries. The goal of the SDG Booster is to accelerate progress to the Sustainable Development Goals through the creation and implementation of innovative digital technology projects. Each SDG booster is comprised of two workshops around a thematic topic and a geographical region. Starting with data collected on actual needs, we will co-create solutions, projects and consortia to address local challenges and create business with impact. The workshops will be facilitated by leading experts together with Finnpartnership, UNTIL, Fingo and Business Finland. Participants can then join Finnpartnership for an optional visit to the region to present and offer their solutions to the local stakeholders. The follow-up event for the SDG Booster focusing on education in East Africa will be organized digitally.
