Cooperation proposal

  • Establishing a joint venture in Ukraine (Lviv, 90 km from the Polish border) to manufacture products for partners in Europe
  • Performing contract work for a Finnish company  and exporting products to any European country.

KHID, founded in 1996, is a clothing manufacturing company by the Fund for Social Protection and Rehabilitation of the Disabled. The KHID staff is all-female and the company has a long history of employing seamstresses with disabilities.

The company has nearly 30 years of experience in light industry, specializing in diverse apparel, including products for people with disabilities. KHID has specialised in making clothing for workers such as overalls and have experience in sewing women’s clothing such as blouses, skirts, and pants. Since 2022 the company has produced sleeping bags and stretchers for Ukraine’s Armed Forces. The company can provide sewing services for any light industry product.

Markets and customers

The main clients are Ukrainian companies that manufacture products for the needs of the army and for the orders of partners in Europe. KHID is a contractor for several Ukrainian companies, currently fulfilling orders for sewing gowns for hospitals in Denmark through a Ukrainian intermediary. The company aims to help people with disabilities earn money.

Finnish partners will be able to support and restore Ukraine in modernizing the production, helping Ukrainian enterprises enter foreign markets, and supporting people with disabilities in Ukraine.
