Come along and take advantage of this excellent opportunity to get your business activities started in Latin America!
Finnpartnership is organising a half-day Doing Business with Finland (DBF) seminar in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on October 11th, 2019, in collaboration with a local partner CADEX. The main sectors in this seminar will be cleantech and technologies connected to forest industry, food production, agriculture and education. The seminar brings together a large group of relevant local companies, business entities and government officials to meet Finnish companies.
On the following week, on October 15th a DBF seminar will be arranged also in Piura, Peru. The event will provide your company with an opportunity to find partners in Water, Education, Agriculture and food processing, ICT and Fishery related sectors. This seminar is followed by Expo Agua Peru arranged in Lima, Peru (October 16th to 18th). Finland is privileged to participate as one of the honorary guest countries of Expo Agua this year. Finnish companies interested in taking part in the DBF seminars and/or Team Finland stand at Expo Agua are welcommed to attend a preparatory meeting on August 13th, that Finnpartnership is organising in collaboration with Finnish Water Forum and Business Finland.
Sign up to the preparatory meeting by August 9th and to DBF seminars by September 27th, by sending an e-mail to Finnpartnership’s Senni Muiniekka, senni.muiniekka@finnpartnership.fi, or to Juho Korkiakoski juho.korkiakoski@finnpartnership.fi. Kindly note that this is not a delegation trip, and participants are expected to make their own travel and other arrangements. If the trip is a part of a broader commercial project aimed at Peru or Bolivia, you can apply for Finnpartnership’s Business Partnership Support to cover some of the travel expenses. The next English application workshop will be arranged on August 15th – more information can be found here.
Not able to come? Send us your slides and we will present your company!
If you cannot attend the seminars but wish to be introduced to local companies and organisations, you can send two PowerPoint slides to Finnpartnership. We will present your company/organisation at the seminar and open the discussions with interested local companies.
The slides should include:
1) Picture of the product or an illustrative picture of the service and a short introduction.
2) Name of the company and contact information (a web page is not enough).
3) A definition of what kind of business partner the company/organization is looking for.
Kindly see precise instructions for the slides here.
