Finnpartnership participates in the Opening Ceremony of the week, as well as on the Wednesday 20th November for the event “Sustainable market entry into African countries: Sourcing local knowledge closer to home”. The agenda of the Wednesday’s session can be found in Think Africa Week’s webpage.

Think Africa week includes various events that will be held between November 18th and 23rd in Helsinki. The program centres around the theme of increasing interest in the many possibilities and opportunities between Finland and African countries. The opening ceremony with the theme “Diaspora in the Limelight”, will highlight the many talents and skills of Africans and people of African descent and their contributions in Finland and the Finnish society and the anticipation of possibilities for potential future impacts. What are the Think Africa Week’s events about?

THINK AFRICA WEEK is an annual week-long program that centres around the increasing interest in the many possibilities and opportunities between Finland and African countries. 2019 will especially bring to the forefront the value and impact of the Diaspora in Finland and home countries.
