28 MAY – 2 JUNE, 2022

The Team Finland Network is organizing a business delegation visit to Kigali, Rwanda on 28 May – 2 June 2022. This visit to Rwanda is a continuation to the visit of Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Vincent Biruta to Helsinki in October 2021, who was accompanied by a business delegation.

Rwanda’s economy has undergone rapid industrialization due to a successful governmental policy. Since the early-2000s, Rwanda has witnessed an economic boom, which improved the living standards of many Rwandans. The Government’s progressive visions have been the catalyst for the fast-transforming economy. Hence, Rwanda is one of the fastest growing economies in Africa and is the gateway to both the East African Community trade region and the Democratic Republic of the Congo with market opportunities to the west. Rwanda is a good place for piloting productsand solutions for the African market and offers business opportunities within the sectors of manufacturing, agro-processing & packaging, real-estate & construction, ICT & financial services, energy, mining, health care and education.

The visit is led by Ms. Nina Vaskunlahti, Vice Minister, Under-Secretary of State for International Trade, Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Ms. Nina Kopola, Director General, Business Finland
