The pandemic has shown that technology and digital transformation is the way forward for Citizens, Companies and Countries. It has not only accelerated the pace of digital transformation but has also forced the traditional sectors to pivot and adopt technology in a way that permeates into different layers of businesses. Technology partnerships and innovation in areas like Cloud, AI, IoT, Robotics, Automation, Analytics etc., will become key drivers for any bilateral relationship to flourish.

About Indian IT ecosystem: India is one the leading players in the sphere of digital transformation. Even in the times of uncertainty, the India IT industry managed to grow at about 3% with the overall revenue touching USD 194 Bn and exports at USD 150 Bn. Indian IT industry employs 4.47 million workforce with one out of four tech employees digitally skilled. India also reported to add 1600+ new start-ups in 2020, 12 unicorns and is witnessing growth in digital revenues at around 30%.

To facilitate real partnerships NASSCOM (India’s premier Tech Association) is organising Nordic – India Business Meets between Nordic Multi-sector Enterprises and Indian Technology players having the necessary digital transformation expertise. The initiative is supported by Govt of India, Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and Global Business Inroads (GBI).
