Doing Business with Finland seminar in Laos

This year, Finland and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Laos) celebrate their 50-year diplomatic relationship. Throughout the years, the partnership has broadened to include trade, investment, environmental conservation, green energy, sustainable development, education, and cultural exchange.

To mark the milestone, the Embassy of Finland in Vietnam and Laos and Finnpartnership are organising a Doing Business with Finland seminar on the week of 31st March – 4th April 2025 (date will be confirmed soon). The event brings together companies and organisations from Finland and Laos, as well as EU and UN representatives, and NGOs.

The seminar will particularly focus on how sustainable business practices for economic growth in Laos can be done, highlighting five areas: understanding the EU market, role of SMEs, sustainability in economic development, eco-friendly activities, and circular economy. Finnish operators will be able to showcase their solutions and expertise. At the same time, the seminar also provides the local businesses and other stakeholders insights into the Finnish and EU markets as potential business environments.
