Business partners and visibility in Kosovo and Macedonia – seize our Doing Business with Finland seminars in Pristina and Skopje in October!

Join Finnpartnership’s Doing Business with Finland seminars in October and start expanding your business to Kosovo and Macedonia! Arranged together with local Finnish embassies and Chambers of Commerce, the seminars provide an excellent opportunity for Finnish companies to get their business activities started in the Balkans. The seminar brings together a large group of relevant local companies, business entities and government officials to meet Finnish companies. Arranged since 2007, the Doing Business with Finland seminars usually lead to dozens of promising business discussions and partnerships getting started.

The seminar in Pristina, Kosovo will be held on Wednesday, 3rd October and the seminar in Skopje, Macedonia will be arranged on the following day, Thursday 4th October.

In Kosovo, the focus sectors of the seminar are agriculture and food processing, cleantech, forestry and wood processing, and ICT.

In Macedonia,  In Kosovo, the focus sectors of the seminar are agriculture and food processing, cleantech, metal industry and ICT.

Finnish companies representing these sectors are warmly welcome to join us in Kosovo and Macedonia. Sign up to the seminars by 14 September by sending an e-mail to Finnpartnership’s Patrik Bredbacka, The trip can be part of a broader project aimed at Kosovo and Macedonia, in which case you can apply for Finnpartnership’s Business Partnership Support to cover some of the travel expenses. Patrik will be happy to answer questions related to funding as well.

Kindly note that this is not a delegation trip, and participants are expected to make their own travel and other arrangements.

If you cannot attend the seminar but wish to be introduced to local companies and organizations, you can send two PowerPoint slides to Finnpartnership. We will present your company/organization at the seminar and open the discussions with interested local companies. The slides should include:

1) Picture of the product or an illustrative picture of the service and a short introduction.

2) Name of the company and contact information (a webpage is not enough)

3) A definition of what kind of business partner the company/organization is looking for.

Send the slides (in English) by 14.9.2018 to Patrik Bredbacka, You can also bring printed slides to our office, Finnpartnership c/o Finnfund, Uudenmaankatu 16 B, 00121, Helsinki. The announced deadline is absolute, as Finnpartnership will have the slides printed as a two-sided brochure. This way, an equal service can be offered to all companies presented. The purpose of any shared slide is to get a relevant business contact in return.

Finnpartnership will also organize several other Doing Business with Finland seminars next autumn: read more about the seminars in South Africa and Rwanda here and the seminars in Malaysia here!
